Last month, country music legend Dolly Parton was injured in a car accident in Nasvhille.
Although she didn’t say anything in the immediate wake of the crash, she recently opened up about the experience to Country Weekly.
Parton told the fan magazine that she and her best friend, Judy Ogle, were going to a recording studio to add the finishing touches to Parton’s upcoming album ‘Blue Smoke.’
“This lady just pulled out in front of us and we hit her,” Parton said, “It wasn’t that hard. Thanks goodness we weren’t going that fast.”
There were no serious injuries reported in connection with the accident. Parton said she was bruised across her chest from her seatbelt, but that is about it. As of this writing, Nashville police have not finished looking into the incident.
