A traumatic personal injury can disrupt your life completely – the uncertainty of change, along with the fear of what the future will hold for you and your family, the questions, the stress and the bills only multiply with time and only time will bring the answers. For most of us, time is a luxury we don’t have or can afford.

But there’s one question you can answer yourself: do I really need a lawyer? Yes, because unless you know the rules of the game, it’s hard to play and win against a team that has the homefield advantage and plays by a different set of rules! So, which attorney do you hire with so many out there? Eliminate any uncertainty by knowing that Mitch Grissim and his team have that hometown advantage.
Why Choose Mitch Grissim and Associates ?
That’s an important question, and one worth serious consideration. Here’s how we know Mitch Grissim is the attorney who will best represent you and fight for your rights:
Board Certification: Mitch is certified as a Civil Trial Specialist at the national and state level – a rare accomplishment. To learn more, visit “What is a Certified Trial Specialist?”
Reputation: Mitch has received the AV-Rating* under Martindale-Hubbell’s peer review rating system. He was also listed as a MidSouth Super Lawyer** for 2007.
Experience: Mitch has been practicing locally in Nashville for 36 years. He has handled thousands of personal injury cases and recovers millions of dollars for his clients every year.
Personal Service: You can find Mitch here in his office almost every day. He oversees each case we handle and is readily available to discuss its progress. If you have questions or concerns, our door is always open.
A Note about Attorney’s Fee …
Most personal injury lawyers (including Mitch) charge no attorney fee unless they obtain a settlement of a favorable judgement from the court. In fact, the fee comes out of the settlement. For most of our cases (auto accidents, personal injury, wrongful death and more), our attorney fee is only one-third of the total amount we recover. That amount is typical for Middle Tennessee, and lower than some area attorneys’ fees. In a workers’ compensation case, Tennessee law has lowered the fee to 20%. In addition, we will advance all necessary costs on our cases (including, but not limited to, court costs, medical record charges, depositions, filing fees, etc.).
We handle a wide variety of personal injury claims, ranging from car accidents to workers’ compensation to wrongful death and many more. To see the full list, visit our areas of practice overview.
